Tip of the Week

A child predator is defined as any person who has been convicted of a sexually oriented offense and is likely to engage in the future in one or more sexual offenses against a minor. A child predator is typically required to register with a local law enforcement agency for life. Once registered, an offender will be listed on a child predator Web site. This site can be accessed by the general public. The following information is typically generated in a predator report:

* Name of child predator

* Any aliases used

* Current reported address

* Nature of offense

* Photo

* Body measurements
