August 4, 2006, Newsletter Issue #13: Free Child ID Kits

Tip of the Week

There are several organizations which offer a free child id kit to parents. Organizations such as the Klaas Kids Foundation seek to educate parents about the guidelines of child safety. One way in which they do this is by offering a free child id kit.

Free child id kits are an easy way for parents to document their child's identifying information. These kits usually allow parents to do the following:

* Print a child's identifying information.

* Store an up-to-date photo.

* Record their fingerprints with a fingerprint ink strip.
